Michael D’Angelo

President, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, ComplySci

Michael D’Angelo is President, COO and co-founder of Compliance Science, Inc.  Mr. D’Angelo is responsible for all aspects of technology and architecture strategy for Compliance Science, providing expertise on strategic corporate technology initiatives in support of the company’s software-as-a-service platform offerings.

Mr. D’Angelo brings more than 30 years of IT solutions experience.  He was previously the owner of Beacon Computers, an independent IT consulting firm.

Ronald Gould

Chairman, ComplySci, Europe

Mr. Gould joined CSI in September 2015 as Chairman, Compliance Science Ltd. Europe. Ron has extensive experience leading financial companies through periods of rapid global growth in complex regulatory and compliance environments. He has also served as a Senior Advisor to the UK regulator, the Financial Services Authority (FSA), lending his expertise to advise on a wide range of policy and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining CSI, he held senior executive management positions at BZW/Barclays Asset Management, including Vice Chairman, CEO Barclays Stockbrokers and CEO Barclays Trust Japan. He was responsible for the first international operations of Barclays’ asset management business and creation of business strategy and development. He has additionally served as CEO of Chi-X Asia Pacific, CEO of ABG Sundal Collier ASA, Managing Director of AXA Investment Managers and Managing Director Asia, Promontory Financial Group.

Mr. Gould currently serves as a board member, partner and advisor to a number of established financial companies including One Re Insurance, J.P Morgan Asian Investment Trust PLC, ThinkAlliance Consulting, and Warfleet Partners.

Mitchel Kraskin

Co-Founder, ComplySci

Mitchel Kraskin is co-founder of Compliance Science, Inc. (“CSI”) which has developed several groundbreaking governance, risk management and compliance solutions. With over twenty five years of executive experience managing the creation and delivery of software-based compliance solutions for investment advisors, asset managers, investment banks and brokerage firms, Mr. Kraskin is a pioneer and thought leader in the GRC space. Prior to founding CSI, he was the founder and CEO of Compliance Tools, Inc., a software company that introduced Personal Trading Surveillance automation via intranet based enterprise software. Mr. Kraskin has led software design and development teams for trading systems, compliance systems, portfolio/risk management systems and other applications that support trading activity. Earlier in his career he was a derivatives trader at Citicorp North American Investment Bank, held senior positions at trading software vendors Merrin Financial and The Longview Group, and was a consultant at Morgan Stanley Asset Management. Mr. Kraskin is also an inventor with a patent in rule compliance systems and rule definition languages. He is a graduate of Columbia University.

Jean-Marc Levy

Chief Executive Officer, ComplySci

Jean-Marc is the Chief Executive Officer of ComplySci. He is responsible for driving the company’s strategy and growth, overseeing new product development and innovation, and expansion into new markets.

Jean-Marc is a recognized leader in the Ethics & Compliance industry and prior to joining ComplySci, he was President of LRN, a global leading provider of ethics and compliance solutions.   Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Issuer Services with Intercontinental Exchange NYSE (NYSE: ICE), where he led NYSE Governance Services, a provider of corporate governance, risk, and ethics and compliance tools and services, to boards of directors and governance and compliance professionals.

Jean-Marc has an extensive track record of building fast-growing information and services businesses. He was Chief Financial and Business Development Officer with LLC, a financial technology firm he helped grow to a user base of more than 2,400 institutional investment management firms worldwide before it was sold to The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: SPGI) in 2010.

Jean-Marc holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Computer Science from Tulane University’s School of Engineering.

Glenn Stevens

Chief Executive Officer, GAIN Capital

Glenn Stevens is an FX veteran with more than 25 years of industry experience. Glenn joined GAIN Capital in February 2000 as a founding partner and managing director, and assumed the CEO role in June 2007. Previously, Glenn was managing director, head of North American sales and trading at Natwest Bank. From 1990 to 1997, Glenn was at Merrill Lynch and Co., where he was hired as a USD/JPY trader and was eventually promoted to managing director and chief dealer for spot and forward FX. Glenn’s Wall Street career began in 1984 at Bankers Trust Company. Glenn is a sought after FX market commentator and spokesperson for the retail FX industry, frequently appearing in financial news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, and CNBC, among others. Glenn holds a BS in Finance from Bucknell University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.

Chris Sugden

Managing Partner, Edison Partners

Chris joined Edison Ventures in 2002 and was named Managing Partner in January 2009. He is a successful entrepreneur, experienced in finance, business strategy, product management, sales, marketing and capital formation. His financial and operating perspectives from start-up to growth stage make him a valuable asset to portfolio company management. Chris is Chairman of Edison Venture’s investment committee, and he leads Edison’s largest industry segment in financial technology and services. Chris has deep domain and investment expertise in payments, capital markets and wealth management segments. He currently serves as a Director of eight Edison portfolio companies. Prior to joining Edison, Chris held executive positions with Princeton eCom, directed finance and operations for two start-ups, and held management positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Chris is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Spartan Innovations a technology transfer and incubator subsidiary of Michigan State University. He holds a B.A. degree in Accounting with Honor from Michigan State University.
