Jean-Marc Levy

Chief Executive Officer

Jean-Marc is the Chief Executive Officer of ComplySci. He is responsible for driving the company’s strategy and growth, overseeing new product development and innovation, and expansion into new markets.

Jean-Marc is a recognized leader in the Ethics & Compliance industry and prior to joining ComplySci, he was President of LRN, a global leading provider of ethics and compliance solutions.   Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Issuer Services with Intercontinental Exchange NYSE (NYSE: ICE), where he led NYSE Governance Services, a provider of corporate governance, risk, and ethics and compliance tools and services, to boards of directors and governance and compliance professionals.

Jean-Marc has an extensive track record of building fast-growing information and services businesses. He was Chief Financial and Business Development Officer with TheMarkets.com LLC, a financial technology firm he helped grow to a user base of more than 2,400 institutional investment management firms worldwide before it was sold to The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: SPGI) in 2010.

Jean-Marc holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS in Computer Science from Tulane University’s School of Engineering.


David Eisner

Executive Chairman

David Eisner has a long track-record of leading and advising financial and financial technology companies through periods of high-growth. Most notably, he was the Founder and CEO of TheMarkets.com LLC, a company owned primarily by 10 of the world’s largest investment banks, where he led the company for 11 years prior to its sale to McGraw Hill. Previously, he held the position of Executive Vice President, Office of the Chairman, at Jefferies Group, Inc. where he oversaw the significant expansion of revenues and employees of the firm’s corporate finance, fixed income, research and international businesses from 1992-1999; he also led the IPO of ITG, Inc. and served on its board for its first 3 years as a public company.


Michael D’Angelo

Chief Operating Officer

Michael D’Angelo is one of the principals and co-founders of Compliance Science, Inc. and the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Michael is responsible for all aspects of technology and architecture strategy for Compliance Science, providing expertise on strategic corporate technology initiatives in support of the company’s software-as-a-service platform offerings.

Michael brings more than 20 years of IT solutions experience. He was previously Managing Director and lead developer at Beacon Computers, an independent software consulting firm.


Robert Mattes

Chief Financial Officer

Rob Mattes is the Chief Financial Officer of ComplySci. Rob has over 20 years of senior level financial management experience, having held the position of CFO of Atari, Inc. (Euronext: ATA), Co-President and CFO of Authentic Response, Inc. and was the CFO of Return Path, Inc. as well as  NetCreations, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTCR).

Rob began his career at KPMG LLP’s New York City office in 1990, specializing in the audit of financial service companies followed by Asst. Corporate Controller responsibilities at W.R. Berkley Corp (NASDAQ WRB).

Rob has a CPA license issued from the state of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University.


George McKevitt

Chief Technology Officer

As Chief Technology Officer, George McKevitt leads CSI’s technology and product management teams.  He is responsible for developing and executing CSI’s technical and product strategies to deliver innovative products to customers. George’s 30 years of client-focused technology and management experience is instrumental as CSI continues to capitalize on the expanding market for cutting-edge and sophisticated compliance solutions.

Previously, George served as Chief Information Officer at Albridge Solutions, an Affiliate of Pershing, that provides data aggregation, portfolio accounting and performance reporting to financial services firms. While there, George was responsible for product development and technology to support business needs and the company’s growth. George also served as Enterprise Architect at Teradata, where he focused on developing high performance enterprise architectures and enterprise data warehouses, as well as in technology-focused managerial roles at Eagle Rock Capital, Unicorn, Inc. and Starpoint Solutions.

George holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rutgers University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a PhD in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University.


Charles Steerman

Vice President, Customer Success

A nine year veteran of ComplySci, Charles is the head of the Customer Success Team. Customer Success encompasses implementations, customer support and on-going relationship management. Before his current role, Charles was the primary solutions consultant working alongside the ComplySci sales and support teams to ensure alignment between sales engagements and long term compatibility between client expectations and the solutions offered. Previously, Charles was the head of Implementation Services, providing leadership to  team members who identify clients’ business requirements and develop implementation plans that streamline compliance processes. Charles has a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University and holds an MBA in finance and a JD from St. John’s University.


Alberto Zamora

Vice President, Product Management

Alberto leads product management at ComplySci.  He is responsible for defining, driving, and executing the product strategy.

Alberto has over 15 years of software development experience in the financial technology space.  Prior to ComplySci, Alberto served as Vice President, Product Management at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where he was responsible for all mobile and core web platform offerings.

Prior to S&P Global, Alberto was a senior member of the product management team at TheMarkets.com, playing a key role in its success, ultimately resulting in its sale to McGraw Hill.

Alberto has also held product management positions at CarryQuote, a mobile startup, as well as UBS, where he started his career.

Alberto holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University.
