Senior Vice President, Vista Equity Partners
Justin Cho joined Vista Equity Partners in 2005 and is currently a Senior Vice President in the Endeavor Fund team. He currently sits on the boards of Gather, NEWSCYCLE Solutions, Trintech and ComplySci, and was actively involved with Vista’s investments in BigMachines, P2 Energy Solutions, Regulatory DataCorp, Surgical Information Systems, and Ventyx. From 2008 to 2009, Mr. Cho served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at P2 Energy Solutions, with a focus on operations as well as corporate strategy and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Vista, Mr. Cho worked at Merrill Lynch & Co., where he advised clients in both the technology and healthcare industries. In addition to his work at Vista, Mr. Cho is also a member of the Leadership Council for the Andy Roddick Foundation, a non-profit provider of after school and summer learning programs.
Mr. Cho holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley.
Operating Vice President, Vista Equity Partners
Jamie Holden joined Vista Equity Partners in 2018 as an Operating Vice President. She is responsible for partnering closely with executive teams to create operational scale and sustainable growth in the Endeavor Fund’s portfolio companies. Ms. Holden currently sits on the board of ComplySci.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Holden led the Value Creation Practice in Vista Consulting Group (VCG) for the Endeavor Fund’s portfolio companies. Additionally, Ms. Holden previously served as Chief Operations Officer at PeopleAdmin, a Vista company, where she focused on services, support, and customer success. Before PeopleAdmin, Ms. Holden worked at VCG, where she led value creation efforts for Vista portfolio companies. Prior to VCG, Ms. Holden worked at Dell in various leadership roles including Director, Americas, B2B eCommerce. Ms. Holden also previously worked at France Telecom Research & Development Labs.
Before her time with France Telecom, Ms. Holden served as an Adjutant General Officer in the U.S. Army with tours of duty in the Republic of Korea and Iraq. She holds a B.S. in Human Factors Engineering & Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Chief Executive Officer, ComplySci
Jean-Marc Levy joined ComplySci as Chief Executive Officer in 2016. He has been responsible for driving the company’s strategy and growth, overseeing new product development and innovation, and expansion into new markets.
Mr. Levy is a recognized leader in the Ethics & Compliance industry and prior to joining ComplySci, he was President of LRN, a global leading provider of ethics and compliance solutions. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Issuer Services with Intercontinental Exchange NYSE, where he led NYSE Governance Services, a provider of corporate governance, risk, and ethics and compliance tools and services, serving boards of directors and governance and compliance professionals.
Mr. Levy has a longstanding track record of building fast-growing information and technology businesses. He was Chief Financial and Business Development Officer with TheMarkets.com LLC, a financial technology startup he helped grow to a user base of more than 2,400 institutional investment management firms worldwide, before it was sold to The McGraw-Hill Companies in 2010.
Mr. Levy holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BS with Honors in Computer Science from Tulane University’s School of Engineering. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of Tulane University’s School of Science and Engineering.
Managing Partner, Edison Partners
Chris Sugden joined Edison Ventures in 2002 and was named Managing Partner in January 2009. He is a successful entrepreneur, experienced in finance, business strategy, product management, sales, marketing and capital formation. His financial and operating perspectives from start-up to growth stage make him a valuable asset to portfolio company management. Mr. Sugden is Chairman of Edison Venture’s investment committee, and he leads Edison’s largest industry segment in financial technology and services. Mr. Sugden has deep domain and investment expertise in payments, capital markets and wealth management segments. He currently serves as a Director of eight Edison portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Edison, Mr. Sugden held executive positions with Princeton eCom, directed finance and operations for two start-ups, and held management positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Sugden is a certified public accountant. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Spartan Innovations a technology transfer and incubator subsidiary of Michigan State University.
Mr. Sugden holds a B.A. degree in Accounting with Honors from Michigan State University.
Principal, Vista Equity Partners
James Zubok joined Vista Equity Partners in 2016. He co-heads the Endeavor Fund and sits on its Investment Committee. Mr. Zubok currently sits on the boards of Gather, SecureLink, YouEarnedIt and ComplySci.
Prior to joining Vista in 2016, Mr. Zubok ran day-to-day operations of a number of a Vista portfolio companies (SER Solutions and subsequently, Brainware) for 10 years in roles that ranged from General Counsel to Chief Financial Officer to President. Mr. Zubok has also owned other software companies, including Mi9 Retail, which he operated independently of Vista for five years in roles ranging from Senior Vice President to Chief Executive Officer. While focusing on running the day-to-day operations (together with related matters) of these software companies, Mr. Zubok also managed a dozen buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions transactions, which include: acquiring a platform company; recapitalization transactions; multiple add-on acquisitions structured as stock and asset purchases; founding and operating his own private equity investment structure; managing relationships with limited partners; and completing exits of multiple Vista portfolio companies.
Mr. Zubok holds a B.M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
